Help me with my laptop :-(

hey there,

I'm thinking of getting a Dell Inspiron 1300, specs:

Intel Celeron M 360 Processor
40GB Hard Drive (5400rpm)
Memory:512DDR DDR 2 (533mhz)
8X DVDRW (DVD Burner)
Win XP

Though will it be able to support a Line6 Tone Port UX-2 + Software? specs:

Pentium IV 1.2 Ghz
Win XP
512 RAM
1GB free HD
Drive Speed of 5400rpm

Any suggestions that I should get a different laptop for the UX-2? (though not too expensive...)

I don't really know anything about computers...

I laugh in the face of Intel Celeron. Seriously, go AMD and HP. You won't regret it.

Well, stay away from the Celeron if you can. They suck in desktops and suck even more so in laptops.

Go with a non celeron Intel CPU or a good AMD.

Definatly stay away from celeron processors, and Dell are a bit dodgy at times, they really messed a friend of mine over, now he has a laptop that cost £800 and is crap!

I built my tower for less than that a year ago and its sooo many times better its not even funny

Only reason i still have windows is once in a month i might play some game that is only avelible on pc... if i was to get a laptop it would defenatly be apple... Laptop sucks for games anyway to why go with windows if you cant play games anyways...
