Help me with sound card

I wanna buy sound card (audio interface)

My options are

Focusrite solo g2
Behringer umc202hd
Behringer unmc 204hd


Or other brand in this price range .

Which one is best for recording bass ?
I have passive bass .

At this price range one audio interface or another isn't going to make a difference for recording bass specifically. Anything that has an instrument input will do just fine. Read some customer reviews first to hear about pros and cons for specific products.

Look at the free software packages that come with interfaces. Sometimes the free software is a big advantage.

Your PC performance will matter more. And adequate PC for what you might want to do will be a lot less frustrating.

I use the Behringer UMC404HD for recording my 2 passive basses (Fender P-Bass, SX Ursa fretless) and my Squier VM Jaguar with active bass boost. I also use it to record vocals with both a dynamic mic (Shure SM-57), and a condenser mic (Audio-Technica AT-2035) using the phantom power supply.

I really like the unit. The MIDAS preamps are nice for the vocal mics. I find I don't really need them for recording the basses; at least they don't need to be turned up much to get good recording levels.

I got the UMC404HD over the 202 or 204 models because sometimes I perform in a duet, and we can input 2 mics and 2 guitars simultaneously. Also, the additional outputs channels allow me to have separate monitor channels for click/cue tracks when using backing tracks.

Having said all this, please note that I am using a Mac with Logic Pro X as my DAW. I have had no driver problems or connectivity issues at all; but, some people with PCs have reported driver/connection problems. You should review Behringer's support forum for their recording hardware. Here is the Link Removed.

I don't think there called sound cards. But more digital audio interfaces. I use the Presonus AudioBox 44VSL for recording. It plugs into the computer via a USB cable, and comes with a DAW called Studio One 3 Artist software. Both bypass the computer's soundcard, and the monitors, headphones, and instruments plug into the 44VSL interface. The sound is great with high end preamps. But these 44VSLs are hard to find, and the AudioBox USB will work out just fine.
