HELP!!!! Music Man Stingray 1978 Bridge replacement

I just acquired a 1978 Stingray with no bridge...What can I do ?????

May or may not work. You definitely can't use the string thru with this bridge. Very rarely does one come up for sale and EB Music Man is of no help selling you one.

There is a drawing further down the page that lists measurements for that bridge. Have a drill press and a belt sander? Strip the plate, turn it over and sand off the chrome from the back. Use a drill press to drill the holes for the string through from the back. Use a thin epoxy paint on the back after you have drilled the holes to seal the metal. This stuff will do the job too.

i would call music man and give them the bass S# they make one for the old smoothie that is string through worth a try.
