Oooo! Love the Ana! What color/fretboard is yours? Oh. Blä. You're on the wrong continent, or you'd be getting a PM...I am selling a unique short scale bass that is from this brand here: MODEL BTC BASS
PM if you need more information
Just as an outsider looking in...., fender mustang, you could use it too, plus resale value!Tina also played a Fender Mustang. They sound great! Highly recommended.
I have 2 dude! The black one and the one with the spalted top and both are great. Super fun to play and you can't beat the tele shape. Is this a good time and place to start the discussion that bass players are really not looked after when it comes to design? So many cool guitar outlines and for some reason the same outlines are not carried over into basses or they have stopped from production or the are made from the cheaper sister companies. Flying V's is a general one.Oooo! Love the Ana! What color/fretboard is yours? Oh. Blä. You're on the wrong continent, or you'd be getting a PM...
Ibanez MIKRO GSRM20, they're cheap and sound great, and of course are small. My first bass was one of them, still have it, fun little thing. Oh and usually around or under $200 too! (at least where I am) I would also recommend the Talman, wanted that as my first bass but the shop sold out before I could get one. They came back into stock about a year later and I got to play one, very comfortable, although larger than a mikro.Hey guys,
I have been reading on TB for about 5 years now, and just now decided to join (sorry). I am in the early process of teaching my wife to play bass, and I've noticed a little problem. My 2nd Gen Sire V3 5 string is just too big for her. The body takes up her whole torso, and she has to lean and stretch to play the 1st fret. So I'm hunting a good quality 4 string short scale, preferably with a smaller scaled body as-well. The options I've considered are below, all are at or under $550. (btw, she is 5' 0" with a 5' 2" wingspan)
Sterling Ray Short Scale
Fender Player Mustang Bass
Ibanez Talman TMB30
Sire U5 - preorder
SX Short Scale P Bass
Any other recommendations or things to consider?
These are cool too..The King of short scales..
