Help needed locating a website

Hi all,

I'm hoping somebody here can help me in locating a website, that I hit upon last week, but foolishly didn't bookmark. I may have even gone to the link from a thread here on TalkBass, but I can't find it in the history of my browser.

It's a site of a bass magazine that has now ceased publication, since about 2001, I think, but all the stuff is still there on the web. The main thing I remember, which will hopefully be the key to an answer, is the front pages of the various issues were laid out on the page, maybe 4 across and 4 or 5 down, with the featured artist on the cover. The front covers were all links to the artist's interview.

There were some great interviews, which I was really looking forward to reading, but am now frustrated at not being able to locate it.

Hopefully somebody here will recognise this site and put me out of my misery.

Maybe but bass guitar magazine has not ceased publication. Its very much alive.

Thanks for the link, but unfortunately, it's not the one I was looking for. Bass Guitar are still very much alive and current. The one I'm trying to find went out of print in about 2001. But for reasons of popularity, it's maintained and kept online.

Are you using Windows 2000/XP? If so Windows often keeps a history of websites recently visited.

Open Internet Explorer then Click TOOLS --> Internet Options and where it says Temporary Internet Files, click SETTINGS, then Click VIEW FILES. Then it's just a matter of looking for the HTML file, or a relevant cookie etc etc sic ad nauseum

I've been going crackers looking for this, because I'd started reading a little of the Jack Bruce feature and then closed everything down. When I went to look for it in the browser history, not a trace of it! Oh, the frustration!

Seriously, though... glad to help. I had run across this site awhile back, so I was able to recall it from your description. I had a heck of a time trying to remember the name - I knew it was something about bass and the planet. Took a few iterations before I finally got it right.
