Help on Presto--Pull-off or slide

Not Rush's Presto--Bach's.

I'm working on the piece from the "Bach for Bass" book. If you have it, I'm talking about Page 27, 5th measure.
The notation calls for a slur from C to Bb to A on the D string 10-8-7 for tabbers.

What's the "correct" way to do this on a fretted instrument? Pull-offs or slide?

Hey since Bach didn't write for the bass guitar, one of the fun things about playing Bach on bass is coming up with your own interperetation of things, try whatever you think sounds and feels best. Oviously, there's no "correct" way to play a piece on bass guitar that was written for a completely different instrument.
