Help picking a half stack

The only amp I have right now is the Ampeg BA115 and don't get me wrong, I love that thing, but the 100W won't cut it for some of the gigs I'll be playing soon. I'm on a pretty tight budget but I'm willing to stick with my Ampeg until I can save the money. I'm trying to find a good 4x10 half stack to invest in to give me the extra power I'll need. I play rock music..influenced by bands like Glassjaw (love Manny's tone but can't quite afford an SVT haha), At the Drive In but I love playing all styles. I do enjoy playing thick bass tone with not much treble so something with good low end is a must. Any ideas out there for a good quality half stack for me? Or good cab/head combonations I can mix to make a sweet rig?

I suggest looking for an Ampeg 410he cab and a 500 watt bass head. The 410he may not have great low end, but it will get you loud enough on stage and what not. Are you going to have a PA system at your disposal? If you do, the cab on stage is generally your stage monitor and you should let the PA do as much work as possible to get your sound to the audience.

Sometimes you have to balance between what you need on stage to hear yourself and what you want to hear from your bass rig. Many times what you want to hear out of your rig will not result in you hearing yourself well on stage. Keep that in mind.
