Help! Pre Ernie Ball Sting Ray treble pot

My 77 Stingray is in the shop at Philtones in Baltimore.
They tell me that the treble pot is bad and it is hard to find a replacement.
Anyone out there have one laying around? lol
What I know is whats on it... (on the side all the way around) not on the back like you would normally find

Clarostat
CM41846 1 Meg (ohm symbol)
19-7635

reverse, solid shaft

Yep, famously this pre has a reverse audio taper 1meg pot for treble. Try searching ebay for "C1M potentiometer". Or look through electronics suppliers like mouser, digikey, futurelec, etc. Another approach would be to contact nordstrand or one of the others who sell copies of this circuit.

If you can only get split shaft, that's OK, you can get adaptor sleeves so you can put a 1/4" type knob on properly.

All these links are for 16mm alpha pots. And that's cool. It's what I've used myself for 2-band stingray pre clones/variants I've built over the years. (Building one right now as it happens!)

But what if the owner insists on a more "period correct" part? (OP has a '77 stingray, afterall.) FWIW, I'd be interested to know if anyone has a supplier for 24mm CTS type vintage-looking pots in C1M... Cheers.
