Help removing covers from 2013 N3 Noiseless Jazz pickups

I want to replace the black covers on N3 Noiseless Jazz pickups. Are the pickups simply pressed in, or are they sealed/glued to the covers?

Any advice on safe removal would be greatly appreciated.

No, the covers aren't glued, they slip off very easily. You shouldn't have any problems replacing them at all.

I plan to make silicone rubber molds from the originals and cast plastic duplicates in a couple of different colors.
