HELP. Roundwound strings with light green silks?

These strings came on my Stingray (I bought it used). They sound good on there, but they're getting worn out. The thing is... I have no idea what they are. They are roundwound (presumably nickle), have light green silks at the tuner end, silver anchors, and no silks at the bridge end.

Anybody seen these before?

I have seen Dean Markley strings with silks very close to that.

Thanks for the input. It looks like Dean Markley has several types of bass strings (Blue Steel, SR2000, Alchemy). I wonder if they all have green silks. Anyone know?

The Blue Steels on my bass have white silk on both ends.

CORRECTION:
I just looked when I got home and saw that the white silk is, like yours, only on the peg end. So that might be a consistent Dean Markley trait.

Maybe TI Jazz rounds. Are they a light gauge? Jazz rounds are very light, with a round core, and they look just like those.

Yep, looks like TI jazz rounds to me as well. Had them on my Sterling.

They're not Jazz Rounds, they have silks on both ends, and brass ball ends.

I don't have a caliper, but I would guess the gauge to be about 45-105. Maybe even slightly heavier.

FYI... I went ahead and bought a set of Dean Markley Skullbusters. Those are not the ones. The silks on the Skullbusters are darker than the strings that are currently on my bass. The question still stands.

Ever find an answer? I bought a squire standard JP bass in a pawn shop with the same strings on the the E and A and loved the sound of them that I even took the A string and put it in the mix of my DR Blue on the Fender Jazz bass I have. I really like this mystery green silk string and I don't know who made it?

The guy probably doesn't even have the bass any more.

On a related note, I remember a member starting a posting where strings were being categorized by the silk colors and descriptions. It might be worth a shot to search.

Ironically, I do still have the bass... and it still has those strings on it. LOL.
