Help SansampRBI hookup

I just bought a used sansamp rbi.
I want to use the unaffected and affected signal directly to my fireface 800

I have xlr to trs mogami cables that I am connecting to the fireface. The only problem is the unaffected barely comes in as a signal I get maybe -40dbfs. I see it but its really low.

Does the unaffected signal need to be hooked up to a preamp since there is no gain??

Does the RBI have a switch for Line (+4) or Instrument (-10 usually iirc) level?

The RBi looks to have a switch for 0 and -10? The fireface has -10 and +4
