Help to identify bass in recording

Of course, happy to help you confirm your intial suspicion. It also sounds to my ears like instead of tic tac (overdubbing the mute/pick attack) it sounds like it has a very slight slap back delay or tape delay on that track.

With a couple of phone calls, I could get man on the phone (probably). But, I did not want to disturb him about something so trivial.

Honestly unless he's 'get off my lawn type' and crotchety he's probably flattered someone after all these years has taken an interest in his sound and his work

He may or may not remember the recording session, couldn't hurt to ask him if he remembers if there was an echo effect or perhaps there was a split signal to the board with one mic recording his ambient picking part in the room, I say go for it!

Unfortunate, he is that kind of guy. I know well people, who know him well. But, last time, I talked to him, he had a nose up to the sky, from not so much obvious reason. I called him to come to the jam, what he completely ignored, like I said nothing. So... I just flipped on him and walk away.
