Cry baby
CS-3 Compressor
DD-6 delay
Phase 90

I know a few things about arranging a board
But not enough..

I'll take the risk of posting another one of "these" threads..
But if someone could help me arrange the sequence of these fx
I'd appreciate it!

Is there anything particularly "missing" that you want to fix? Order can be a matter of taste.

That said, I would try putting the overdrive after the compressor so it's not getting squashed, and then maybe experiment with the wah at the end of the chain.

interesting, you're suggesting putting the OD before my compressor,
not after it..
and the cry baby in the middle of the chain, not at the end.

I generally keep the tuner first and the wah last,

the tuner has the A/B box built in, that has to come first.

I can't fit the crybaby on the board along with too many fx, so I like to keep it off to the side, on the floor..
I should have mentioned that.

so that leaves the..
comp-OD-phase-delay

this is what I came up with last night...
tuner.comp-OD-phase-delay-wah
I've been keeping the delay last

and the OD early on in the chain.
I wasn't sure which was better first, comp or OD.

so far I haven't really seen many ill side effects or anything unusual with my sequence, but I figured I would experiment with a couple of things..

I just found a few charts online which broke down some of the reasons why certain pedals should be here or there..
the Compressor is the toughest one for me to figure out.
I guess I'll need to experiment..

I would put the compressor last because sometimes when I use filters and delays I get big volume spikes. I don't know if it would stay there. I don't use compression often. Wah after delay sounds pretty neat but usually just like it better before. Whatever floats your boat. You're not doing anything wrong or really weird or anything. That's just how I'd try your pedals at first if I had them in front of me.
