help wanted: unline fretless,but with dots

Hey all,
I've been considering buying a fretless, I want relatively inexpensive one to learn on, but all the cheap ones (squier, sx) have white fretlines. I don't really care much for them.
Im looking for a fretless that has an unlined neck, but with dot markers actually on the fretboard.

Anybody know of any?

+1 I had a fretless with lines at the 5th, 9th and 12th frets only (side dots were already there)

My Epi EB-1 fretless had side dots - you should know that on that bass, the side dots were set to mark the note position where the fret would normally go. They weren't set in the center between half-steps.

I installed a Warmoth fretless neck on my P. It had dots at the III, V, VII, IX, XII and XV positions. I got a roll of silver pinstriping tape from Auto Zone and cut little squares out of it to place where the frets would be at the other positions. Since the tape was wider than a fret, I added a Sharpie dot in the middle of each one.

I'm not sure if you mean dots on the side, or ON the fretboard, but I want clay dots ON the fretboard with no lines!! Can you say sexy?!

i have a fretless unlined but with all the dots. I just pulled the frets out of my fretted and filled the holes with same color wood. Looks amazing.

Sorry, should have specified. I meant dots on the actual fretboard. I assume they should already have them on the top of the neck.

I know what you were asking, but Rickenbacker is the only one I know of that does this, but they aren't 'cheap' like you're asking.

Don't have a picture of just the neck. But this is it.

Use the lines if you have never played fretless before.

The fret lines will help with your intonation in the beginning and save you much grief.

Dot's on the fretboard are only for looks. When was the last time you actually looked at the fretboard to see where you are? You always use the side markers.

The F Bass AC6 has 'em. I have a LeDuc UBass with them as well.
Not sure of your budget but, these are both killer basses.
