HELP!!! Which One???

I am now deciding between a rack unit, possible an ampeg or eden tube preamp with a crown power amp and maybe room for a rack tuner. OR get a new non-rack amp. I am looking for something that can push more than my 50 watt tube amp for live shows. The rack unit will be around a grand, so i'm looking at spending that much for the other amp as well. I'm looking at possibly a Mark Bass 500, i dont know if you guys know anything about these new things. I play some sort of vintage, funk, rock, melodic bass lines. So if that helps you understand what i'm looking for. If you have any names, brands or ideas that would be great thanks
