Help with Buying My First Bass

Hey everyone, I was just looking for some tips on buying my first bass, in a relatively small price range (like $200 or less). I got the chance to finally get my hands on one for the worship team at church, and now I'm in love with it. I'll also need to buy an amp and everything, so some advice on a general setup would be awesome.
I also wouldn't mind some tips or pointers on learning bass and other beginner topics.
