The ad on Craigslist caught my eye. I bought it for $50. SN#VN455803. This bass was completely neglected judging by its condition. It cleaned up very nicely and I set it up properly. It has a maple fingerboard, a comfortable neck over all. The black body is a full size thickness like a Fender but I believe it is made of plywood. I'm pleased to say, even with the unidentifiable old strings on it sounds rich and punchy. I own several Precision basses and this one holds its own against the others tone wise. It is not a Squier II or Bullet. Just says Squier Precision bass and Made in Korea in black type on the headstock. Can anyone help me identify this bass?
