Help with summer english assignment.

Alright, so I am going into A.P. Comp this year and a requirement for the class is to read two books (Of mice and men and To kill A Mocking Bird). I must also complete an annotated bibliography on each of them with at least five entrys. The problem is that I don't fully understand the concept of an annotated bibliography. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks

BURN!!! work over summer...:scowl:

just kidding but i got through to kill a mockingbird without killing myself so thats a feet right there in its self....if i can remember correctly it wasn't all that bad.

Oh, I loved that book. Once I started, I just couldn't put it down.

Anyways, it's been about two years since I've done an annotated bibliography. We just have to do a Works Cited page now, which is infinitely better. If I can find any of my old resources, though, I'll send them your way.

hahaha!!! nice kruton, I had to do this exact asignment last summer. So I'm guessing you're either a sophmore or junior in High School.

well, the only advice I feel qualified to give you is do it now instead of waiting till the very last night before start of term to complete most of it. (very bad idea)

Yup I'm going into my junior year. I really have no problem reading the books, I read pretty fast and enjoy reading them. It's the annotated bibliography that gives me trouble. I still don't understand the concept. From what I can tell from the example you read books about the book and summarize them, but I don't think that's right. Anyone care to define the term annotated bibliography in layman's terms. If all else fails, then I will get my sister to help me (graduated 4th in her class)
