help with wiring in a tweeter

i currently have a single 15' custom built cab with a speaker from a 70's peavey. im wanting to add a super tweeter but dont really know how i should wire it in. im just wondering if anyone has done this and how it was done. thanks

you're going to need a crossover (or at least a hi-pass filter for the tweeter) so you don't send full range to the tweeter which would probably blow it pretty fast.

And he's far better off with a midrange driver than a tweeter. The right way to do it can be seen in the fEarful DIY 15/6 threads.

well im also running a gk 410 cab with my 15, so the mids arent a problem, i just want it to be a little more dynamic as a whole. as far as the crossover goes do you know where i could purchase that.
