Squire or BC Rich or Xaveier or Peavey? I need real input on buying a new bass, never been one to mod. Just plug and play. NOT a professional. Back when I was in High school, played(badly) a Fender P that I wish I still had, so I'm partial to the P. But the budget only has $300 in it. I bought an Ibanez GiO from a friend at work, played it for a while and noticed that it now has a banana shaped neck.
