and some of them are real professionals so imscared
Even professionals were once beginners. You have not been playing very long, and it would not be reasonable to expect note-by-note perfection from you at this point.

So do it yourself. Don't be scared. This is a low-stakes situation. Play it to the best of your ability and have a great time.
This is great advice. Go have fun, accept that you won’t be perfect, but that you will learn a lot by doing this.

THAANKS SOO MUCH i already showed this to my teacher and she didnt like it. she is a violinist so i cant take any advice from her either 😭 she said i should try to do it by myself but i didnt like what i did either😓
When she says do it by yourself, does she mean learn it by ear (memorize) or write your own tab? My advice is to keep your playing simple. It’s a waltz, you could probably just play one note per measure and it would be fine, as long as it’s the root note.

Here is an extracted bass line from that song, along with the metronome and the drums.
Above and beyond! It’s stuff like this that makes Talkbass such a great place.

@lid You should use the isolated bass part to learn the lines. The tab can be helpful to understand the hand and finger positions, but don’t rely on it to actually learn the song. Alternate between playing along with the isolated tracks and the full song. This will help you internalize the tune until you don’t need the tab.

Music is supposed to be fun... don't put too much pressure on yourself. If your teacher is using this performance as an exercise then you should follow their instructions, in that you should prepare your own chart whether it's a tab, notation or just a progression chart. But most importantly, don't put so much pressure on yourself to be perfect, perfection is not the point. The point is to have fun, and learn a little while you're at it. Relax, take a deep breath, remind yourself that you got this, and prepare your chart. Do the best that you can, and have faith that this experience will make you more confident in approaching the next one!

Don't worry about trying to impress other players. Just play a single root note on the first beat of each measure and you will be fine. I have played many many waltzes like this and never had a complaint even when recording an album. Remember, you must keep the beat, so concentrate on the root notes and you should be fine. This experience will also help you to listen to the other musicians and it will also help develop your ear. Have fun and good luck.;)

I found this on the Cordify app. Sorry no tabs, but It has scrolling chord carts along with a video performance. This should help you
