help!

i'm new at playing bass, and i've buyed a fender rumble 25 amp. i know this is stupid, but i don't know what the bass, mid and treble knobs in the amp are suposed to do. can somebody help me with this stupid question ?

those adjust the eq of your amp, play with them until you get a sound you like, I usually like the bass around 1 o clock, the mids around 10 o clock and the highs at high noon

Or just mess with them and find out for yourself what they do. You're not going to blow the amp up.

Bass = low frequencies, Middle = middle frequencies, Treble = high frequencies. Turn each one all the way up and all the way down while you're playing and listen to what each one does, then adjust them for a good sound.
