Interesting, Im guessing your talking about the Eminence 2010 Basslites?

Looks Like the Resonant Freq on the Paper cone is lower

and the QMS is lower and the Xmax is a little bigger.

They plain jane papers seem to be a hair bit better.

Otherwise if you had a funky cabinet. The higher FS and lower QMS of the Hemp Cone might work better.

I wouldn't worry about it not lasting. Hemp is a much better product then paper. You know that test where you push in the speaker cone to see if it's damaged? With hemp you wouldn't have to be as worried. People have been choosing hemp over paper until they outlawed it. It's much sturdier then paper and will hold up to water and pressure a lot better then standard paper.

That's probably something to think about. I've seen a few paper cones ruined by a stray beer. I'm going to have to study this a little more.
