Henman-Bevilacqua Bass

Wow, I watch your reviews all of the time! I didn't know you posted here! Pretty cool.:D

EDIT: Under their FAQ it says that you can supply your own pickups with the same dimensions and they will send it to you with those instead.

Still might cost the same though. :hmm:

I wish more custom shops would do that.

This HB bass is really growing on me. One day.........

JAUQO III-X,

How the hell do you keep that pick from moving around when you use that unique technique? Come on now, don't be like a guitarists and keep secrets :D

You're more than welcome to check mine out if you're ever in Chicago, or if we meet through out my travels.

drop me a PM if you're ever in Montreal. I'd love to get down to Chicago some time, both to check out Specimen guitars and meet the phenomenal Scott Urban (who I'm building an axe for at work). As someone who presumably appreciates good wood, if you wear glasses, or heck even sunglasses you should check out his work - mind blowing.

I think it sounds terrible and looks even worse... I'd take an SX over this any day...

I like the unique look of it [exept the headstock], and that truss system intrigues me, but for that price, I'd rather do other things. I could build two or three kick-a** USACG basses for that price.

Speaking of SX, I just received my first SX / Essex yesterday. My initial impressions are on the SX thread. I'm quite pleased.
