I was going through some old albums and came across this and decided to give it a listen since I haven't played it in almost 35 years, (At least!). What a fantastic groove Herbie has through this, particularly near the end of the song. He deserves more respect that he already gets IMHO.

I love Herbie's playing, and his blue over Fiesta Red '60s Jazz is simply one of the coolest basses ever!

Check out David Bowie's "David Live" album recorded at The Tower in Philadelphia and released in 1974. Killer band and fantastic playing by Herbie.
