I can't find anything online for this one. Even just a basic line to get me started.

How far over your ability is it?

If it's a little bit over, then it could be a good exercise in transcription.

I just spend five minutes or so skipping around in the song, listening to the bass parts through high-quality headphones (this is key as there are some pretty low notes). I can give you some direction if you are interested in trying to figure this song out on your own.

I do have some studio monitors & some AKG K240's, and I've done some of my own transcriptions, but that's mainly for guitar stuff. I'm not as quick picking up basslines, expecially this kind of line.

Any advise would be a help. I also use software to slow down the mp3. I usually listen, sing it to myself, then try to find it.

Start by breaking down the song form: where do the various bass lines appear (the bass in the song is actually pretty sparse), how many different lines are there, how many times do they repeat, etc. The try to determine what key the song is in.

If you have the ability the slow the song down, then move on to trying to figure out what sounds like the easiest parts first, that will give you a jumping off point for any more complicated parts.
