Heritage HB IV Info

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by troy mcclure, Oct 9, 2013.

  1. I have done a search and can't find any mentions on TB. This was a few guys from Kalamazoo who left Gibson. I have seen info on their guitars but nothing on any basses. Does anyone have one?
I have seen a picture of a neck thru with 2 EMGs, 24 fret 34 in scale.

These were made in the late '80s and seem to be scarce indeed. Heritage discontinued bass production after a few years in business. The models were the HB-1, HB-2, HB-IV, HB-V and the Chuck Jacobs IV/V.

Designwise, the HB-IV showed a distinct Alembic influence. Here is a crop from the 1989 catalog:

Bringing this dinosaur thread back to life....I too am curious about the Heritage bass. Do you play one, are you selling one, or looking for one?
