Hey world. New here and relatively new to playing my Fender Bronco and Ibanez AEB20E acoustic electric. Just learning new songs and 12 bar blues and having a blast.
Welcome. The Blues was mentioned. Just in case someone needs it. The 12 bar Blues progression will keep you in most jamming sessions.
Grab the 12 bar progression and hang on.
Code:
I///|IV///|I///|I///|
IV///|IV///|I///|I///|
V///|IV///|I///|V///|:
The I is the tonal center and
will fit most anywhere and
then the IV can sub for any
of the minor chords or even
the V in a pinch. So if lost
the I and IV are your friends.
Until you start getting fish eyes
from the guys. Then pound the
I and watch the rhythm guitar's
hands to see what chord he has
gone to. Do the same and hope
he knows what he is doing. LOL
