I'm not a bass player, but fiddle around with a 6-string once in a while. I just bought a great bike from DGBass70 this week, and was very pleased with his friendly handling of the transaction. Tell you the truth, I stumbled on this forum searching for the bike he was selling. But, if this is an example of the relative coolness of the bass community (which I always suspected it was) I might lurk around here once in a while and say hi.

I'm in Chicago, and it's prematurely cold in September. How's your weather?
