I'm also familiar with Tim Lyons through the Chophouse Lounge Link Removed and Nino Valenti of Valenti basses and I even ordered a pickguard through him and Sadowsky guitars...

I don't blame you for wanting it.. they don't make them like they used to. They changed the specs on the neck... the nut is 1.5" instead of 1 5/8"

Both of my basses have the 1 5/8" neck width at the nut... yay!
