I'm Tropic and I'm pretty new here. I don't have a bass yet but I do love the sound and feel of them. I play sax in band and its weird because at my school, practically all the sax players I know play either guitar or bass.
I decided I wanted to play it back in January I think because of.. Guitar hero and the lows growl of the bass parts. Then I actually started listening to music with bass in mind. Now I want a bass bad. I even went over to my friends house to play his to make sure I liked it and man it was way more awesome then I expected so I can't wait to get my first bass. All I need right now is a job so I can get the money to buy my bass and amp and tuner (yes I know, I've been a sax player for several years but I don't have a tuner, shoot me) then I'll be set to get to work.
But yeah I was like thinking a couple months ago "Man I love bass but where can I talk about it and find more info on it?" and i searched google for bass guitar and bass guitar forums and came upon this place and it rocks. So many people, always something to discuss, never desolate, like it! But that's my story anyways so I'll be sticking around here for a while if you guys don't mind.
