Hey, Hal Leonard!

Yeah- JT was the MAN on the first 2-3 DD albums, he really fell off after those, but listen to that first album, he is ALL over the place- EVERY SONG has a bassline hook.
Favorites include "Is there anyone out there" To the shore, Nightboat, Girls on Film, etc... EVERY song on it, same for RIO. The fall off starts at 7 and the ragged tiger, but it is still respectable. Brilliant player.

"Nightboat" is amazing to play. "To the Shore" is another gem; You can't slouch with those intricate back-to-back notes. Every song off the first album is solid and freaking brilliant. "Late Bar" is my favorite B-side, "Faster Than Light" a close second. Seriously, what's not to love about Duran Duran/Rio/Seven and the Ragged Tiger bass lines? They're still innovative 33+ years later. How many '80s groups can say that? I'm down with The Powerstation LP as well.
