hey me find a new bass!!!

hey guys,

i was in the market for a new bass and im a LEFTY. ive been looking an MTDs Carvins, etc.. But i wanted your guys's opinion, i like to play alot of jazz/funk/jam stuff, heavy o the low end, i like to drop bombs and whatnot...any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Oh, and im not looking to spend more than 2k, looking to get the most bang for my buck.

I am not a lefty but I noticed that Schecter seemed to offer many basses for lefty's and this might be a good place to start. Good luck

Musicman make nearly all there catalogue in lefty fashion (stingrays are awesome by the way ) as do warwick, but they are waaaay more expensive.

If your looking for a slightly cheaper lefty bass, Peavy and Dean do some, although not brilliant for funk. Squier have plenty of standard P and J basses in lefty, and they can be anything from £150 - £500+

4 or 5? Agreed, Schecter, Carvin, good calls 4 great value. Look at used basses 2 as they'll b much cheaper. Warwick Rockbass, KSD, Squier, Ibanez r all affordable & if u have $2k, Warwick, MM & many booteekees r gettable used. Take ur time n check in with us lefties. Look at Arni's site n leftybassist as well. Good luck, lefty bro'!
