Any chance we could get a thread going to let folks know of great bass instructors in their area?
There is so little info out there and word of mouth, especially from this group, is invaluable.

There is so little info out there and word of mouth, especially from this group, is invaluable.

I realize that keeping it current (guys/gals leavening the teaching business, moving, etc.) would be impossible, but it would be a place to start, especially for a beginner who doesn’t have a network of other musicians to build on.
I am surprised at the lack of useful reviews/recommendations available on the interweb in my medium to large-size city. I’m sure the folks here on TB could be a big help.
