Hey, I'm kinda new here so I thought I'd do an introduction at least. I've played upright and electric bass for around 7 years, I'm from the Chicago land area and finishing high school this year. I really enjoy playing jazz and funk music, however I do play classical upright bass even though I do not prefer it. I thought I'd come here because I'm still learning as everyone else and I feel like this is one of the best resources I have. Plus I am able to meet a bunch of cool people who play bass. I probably won't be posting much since I'm by no means a great reference, but I will be poking around at all these great threads on this site. Thanks!
