Hey Seattle Players - What's Up

Both The Swiss and Hell's Kitchen are no longer.

We lost that place too. COVID killed it.
Not surprising given their business model of pizza and live bands. Restaurants and live music venues were two of the hardest hit during the pandemic. I only played there once, but I enjoyed it. Definitely out of the way for someone who lives in a Seatlle-proper zip code, but a fun venue with a nice stage. They even had an in-house photographer that provided high quality photos to the bands for free. I got some killer shots from that show.

Yeah, I went there a lot over several years. My little brother played there a bunch, did all his 9their) CD release parties there. My old drummer is still gigging and played there a lot. Was a bummer to lose that one.

Lots of great suggestions here. I can't add much! If it hasn't been said already, I'd also recommend seeing something at The Triple Door. That's one of my favorite venues in town, and they usually have very high quality shows. It's a dinner club type place, very nice and a little swanky inside. Great food, great ambiance. Amazingly I haven't found myself on that stage yet, maybe one of the only ones in that class around here I haven't been lucky enough to play with one artist or another, it I'd really like to.

I appreciate all this, you guys. Just put her on a plane back for winter quarter and already looking for reasons to go visit.

I just dropped off my daughter yesterday in Bellingham for her late-starting junior year. For what it's worth, my band, Planets in the Ocean, is playing at the Central in Pioneer Square, this Friday, 1/6. Feel free to pass it along.

Recordings on your site sound great. I'd love to come out to support whenever I'm in town if I can.
