My names Andy. im 45. Started playing bass at 16 1977. Was in a decent band when I was a teen. Havnt really done much sense. 
Im an OK player, but it dosnt really come naturally for me. I really have to work at it. My weakness is timing. My rythym isnt as quardinated as I would like it to be.
I was a finger player for many years. Now I love slaping. I like playing with a pic also now with the bass slung down low.
I dont read music, have yet to learn chords or harmonics. Very undisciplined in that area.
Bootsy, Mark King, and Percy Jones are who I would like to sound like some day.
