This community looks amaaaaazing. Just wanted to introduce myself...
I started playing bass in 1990, at the age of 14. Played a gorgeous MusicMan StingRay in a couple of awesome bands with guys who went on to do music professionally, while I went on to get a PhD, start a family, and move to sunny California...to the very city where StingRays are made in fact.
Long story short, I just bought my first bass in almost 20 years, a fretless Jazz Bass. I’m completely stoked to have this instrument in my life again! Looking forward to getting to know all you thumpers.
