Hello everybody! My name Is Jonathan and I am 17 years old. I have been playing/learning the bass guitar for 8 months now. I was inspired by my friend who I saw last year and decided to get into it.
When it was March this year I joined a church P&W ministry and that's where I had to learn rapidly on where the notes are and what to play to expand on some chords and add "feel".
I have been lurking on talkbass since January this year and finally decided to join and become part of the community. I hope I will get the chance to learn a lot from everyone here whether they have only been playing a month or over 50 years.
My gear consists of a Yamaha RBX170 which I string with Sadowsky 45-105 nickels and a Laney RB1 amplifier which came as a package. After that GAS took over and now my gear is expanded to a Korg Pitchblack, Two Boss CS-3's, a Boss DD-3, A Behringer Bass Graphic EQ, Hartke Bass Attack and the recent addition of the Zoom B1Xon.
