Hi everyone! EMG and Fender?

Just joined and hope someone can help me with advise. I have a Fender 77 Jazz (very Marcus like but without his changes). I am thinking of installing EMGs or maybe a pre-amp. Anyone with experiences they want to share??

get the emgs with a built in pre amp or if you dont want routing of the wood for battery etc absolutely get the fender scn jazz bass pickups they are amazing with non distorted high output, they fit right in, i have played with the beach boys, hall and oate4s, chicago, christopher cross, david grey and on so have much experience, best oliver
