Hi. Flowery silverware patterns creep me out. ^_^

Well, I've been getting really heavy into bass research lately, and very frequently my searches would end here, so I figured I would become a part of this seemingly-wonderful community. :)

Anywho, a little about myself:
I'm a college student...sort of. I'm majoring in music education (percussion emphasis) and I have an A.A., but I'm taking a year off to sort out some personal things. I've only been playing bass for slightly over 2 years now, but I consider myself a pretty decent bassist. I'm in a band, as most of you probably are, and I absolutely love it. And yes, the title of this thread is truth...inexplicably. ;)

I'm currently playing a stock Squier VM that I have named "Doc" (it's a woman, and there's a story behind the name), and other than pickups and a few simple cosmetic things, I don't have any intention of upgrading. :D

It feels really good to be here, and many thanks in advance for all of your help.
