I played bass in my 20's and switched to guitar for a while since there's such a shortage of guitar players.. I recently decided to get back to basics and play bass again... I picked up a pretty nice Spector 4 string in a pawn shop for $300 and will be getting a bass combo soon..

do you have your eye on a particular combo?
Well after reading the Sweetwater reviews on the Fender Rumble 25, I decided that at $100 it would be a good practice amp to start with.. I'm not currently in a band right now, but I am thinking a Gallien-Krueger Legacy 500 head and a 2 x 10 cab as a gigging rig at a later time.. Here's the bass... I replaced the strings and battery already..
