There is no shortage of Beginner Instructional Videos on YouTube, and many of those bassists have additional instructional courses you may wish to consider as well.
Once you've gotten comfortable, there are no shortage of Beatles Bass instructional videos as well which will show you exactly where to play on the fingerboard, which strings to play, etc.
Learning Paul McCartney's bass lines are a blast! I'd recommend focusing on early material first from the first several albums, are PLENTY of wonderful songs to learn! Heck, the A Hard Days Night Album is filled with one hit after another! As you get more comfortable, you'll have a blast learning material from Rubber Soul, Revolver and more. Stick with it!
