Hi, glad to be here

I'm a Texas guy that moved to beautiful Colorado a year ago. Have played bass for about 15 yrs now but still fairly mediocre.

I hadn't bought a piece of bass gear in a decade and after joining a new band, decided it was time to look around a bit online to up my wattage and got hit hard by GAS after repeatedly finding the answers to my queries on TB. Hoping to get a Fearless F212 and Carvin B2000 sorted out in the next couple of months.

WELCOME! from the Southern branch of the family tree! Born in Da Bronx...been down in GA since 1982. I dun shoveled mah laist driveway.... I was glad to read about your high regard for a Carvin. I think that they deserve more love out here. (And speaking of GAS...I drove for a couple of hours today so that I could buy a ukulele. I listened to good music the whole time.)

Aye, Carvin's amps kind of resemble my bass playing. Not a lot of flash but steady and dependable. Hope the ukulele is everything you hoped it would be. My wee Ashbory bass is about as close as I'll probably ever come to playing a uke!
