Actually, all joking aside it was a serious question as there are additional rules and restrictions for commercial users. If he isn’t actually a commercial user then there’s no reason to be limited by those additional rules and restrictions.

First: Congrats, welcome, have fun!
Second: Spend time and effort practicing, the more the better. Do not overly indulge in the extra curricular frivolities that can accompany being in a band. I am fairly serious about that.
