I've decided to join the likes of all of you since every time I would look something up about double bass, I would eventually end up here. I also hope to take advantage of the classifieds section, since the used double bass market in my city isn't quite booming.
I started with the electric bass and switched to upright a little later in college. I'm finishing a degree in jazz performance, and I play in a couple of bands. I am part of the house band in a bar that host jazz jam sessions, as well.
