I'm a brass band/wind band Euphonium player, (was by profession), who has now retired onto Tuba. During my youth I played rhythm guitar in a covers band but an injury left me with reduced sensation in my hands and a slightly slower hand (left). As Ive now become a Tuba player and can read music and love all music I thought that being a spritely 60 something I should have a new interest and musical target so...
I'm just off to but a bass and practice amp and see how far I get. I can't see me ever gigging its all for fun and Ive already learned a lot from this site. My input to the site will be limited BUT I will add to a thread I noticed - WEAR EAR PLUGS - I also have a constant white noise.
