I have lurked this forum, since I started playing 18 months ago, I learned by ear, just messing around, trying to figure stuff out. While I don't feel I have come as far as I could have, I am somewhat proud of how far I have come as a bassist now.
I am very shy, especially on big forums like this, it is very scary to be posting comments that so many people will judge, but I have lots of questions, and everyone seems very nice.
