I’d just go with the Fender HM bridge.
I've got one of those on my P bass. It is awesome!

Now I'm thinking seriously of putting a string-thru bridge on my MIM Jazz. .
What's a "string thru bridge"? Strings go through all bridges.
They do?Some basses string through the body.
Yeah, I’m still pretty jazzed about doing that. My old MIA Jazz was that way and I liked it. Probably get it ordered this week and installed shortly later. Pictures to follow. Some basses string through the body.
Shun the badass! Seriously the badass is ok, but no holy grail IMO. It’s a nice big hunk of chrome. I have a badass II on my frankenjazz to help balance it because of the Paulownia body.
They do?
Not a fan of the Babicz.
Many people don't like the giant brand stamp on the tailpiece. What's not to like? I haven't used one, but they look like a well engineered bridge.

^^^^ThisHipshot makes a drop-in replacement made of either brass or aluminum.
For high mass, you'd go with the brass version.

As far as the Babicz bridge goes, it's not a high-mass bridge nor is it advertised as such.
They even state on their website that they are made from aluminum for less weight.
That's what I went with. ThanksHipshot makes a drop-in replacement made of either brass or aluminum.

High Mass 3 Hole Replacement Bridge
Help! I need a bass bridge that has 3 mounting holes, is chrome, that is high mass and for a string through body. The bass I need it for is a Fender 1998 American Deluxe Jazz Bass. I have high mass bridges on a few other P-basses and really love them but I am afraid of getting the wrong size replacement bridge this time. Thanks in advance!
