huh...never would have thought that. maybe they spent all their money on the bass! lol
Nah. Some of us have actually seen what happens to our instrument when you throw a typical plywood or ABS hard shell case into the back of a truck & stack some other cases on top of that...and then seen how a good modern gigbag offers more padding, more protection, better isolation of the neck, less opportunity for damage from external shock or pressure... I guess it's not immediately intuitive, but it's an easy conclusion to arrive at after a few empirical studies.
Plus, my Mono gigbag cost more than every hard shell case I own except for the Anvil ATA flight case!
